Salsa Bachata Barre: For performers and competitors. This two-hour class begins with exercises designed to help you develop the skills needed to execute salsa fusion or bachata fusion with the appropriate technique. Following this section, dance sequences incorporating these exercises will be performed for 30 minutes. The class is intended for dancers who are interested in competing and/or performing. Send me a message to preregister here: https://wa.link/39suqw Every class will have a theme . 3 out of 4 classes will be a 2-rhythm fusion theme, ranging from any combination of the following afro-latin styles: Salsa On1, Salsa On2, Traditional Bachata, modern bachata, sensual bachata, cha cha, merengue, and any of the european descendant styles (ballet, jazz, contemporary, etc.) One out of 4 classes will be a specific theme that will not involve choreography but is necessary for performance or competition. During each class, flexibility, mobility, and balance will be addressed. Additionally, the proper transitions between Latin and European dance will be explained, as well as the technical elements of each genre. In this class, all of these dances are explored in the context of wearing heels and gliding seamlessly from one to another.
