Salsa & Bachata Immersion w 2017 World Champion Artia Zandian

Brisbane Salsa and Bachata dancers, you are invited to join 2017 World Champion Artia Zandian in an immersive weekend of workshops. Artia will be assisted by our own Madalyn Milazzo. In these workshops you will learn: - how to move your body like a world-class Latin dancer - how to become your dance partners' favourite - how to listen to the music to interpret and express musicality in your own way - how to anticipate changes in the music - how to express the music not just as a leader but also as a follower - how to make your partner smile by making your social dancing more engaging - how to dance to the 'slow' bits in the song - how to create meaning/story in your dance - how to "let go" and be fierce on the social dance floor - the habits and practice methods of a world champion Each workshop is concept-based, meaning that the ideas presented may be applied to your current experience level in any Latin dancing style. The concepts/ideas presented in these workshops will positively impact dancers of any experience level. Artia's dancing and performances are powerful and fierce. He is a young, hungry salsero who has been working hard to achieve, this year, his first world title. Madalyn's dancing and choreographies are rich in musicality, elegance and feminine expression.
