Salsa & Bachata team auditions and training

Do you want to join the UK's best university salsa (and/or bachata) team(s)? Do you want to take your skills to the next level? Then join us on Sunday the 17th for our open level team and for our advanced team auditions. The open level team is open to both complete beginners and seasoned dancers, no auditions needed. It's a great and quick way to improve and you'll even get the chance to perform on stage and compete. If you're interested, just drop by at 2pm, no partner needed. Our brilliant coach Alex will ease you into the world of performing/competing. If you feel confident with your dancing and have what it takes, you can try out for our award-winning advanced teams. Alex will teach a small choreography which will involve both shines and partnerwork. You will then have to give a short performance where your ability to learn steps quickly, musicality, and overall technique will be evaluated. Those who are succesful will get to join the one and only university team who has won the DCL Latin Dance fest for 4years in a row and will get the chance to go for 5.
