Salsa & Bachata Workshops Steals & Role-Reversal with James Quinn-Hawtin

You are invited to join Dance Culture's school director James Quinn-Hawtin this Wednesday and Thursday evening for two intensive but fun concept-based workshops for both Salsa and Bachata dancing. Stealing [dance partners], Role-Reversal and Role-Swapping [mid-dance] are incredibly fun activities to try during social dancing. In these workshops we'll explore simple but effective techniques to do them smooooothly. The workshops will typically include some theory and a lot of practise. Practise time will include a rotation of 2 Salsa and 2 Bachata songs just like at our Latin Utopia social dancing parties. These are based on two of bossman's most fun, most popular and most highly reviewed festival workshops. Suitable for both Salsa and Bachata students attending Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 or equivalent experience. The entrance to Dance Culture can be found between Yesterday’s Thrift Shop and Lifeline’s Vintage Revival, right on the intersection of Annerley and Ipswich Roads. ** Is this suitable for me? ** These workshops are suitable for all Salsa and Bachata dancers of all experience levels. Non-DC students welcome. ** Investment ** Our normal class pricing applies to these workshops as they are part of our summer timetable. - Members: Free - Credit Pack Holders: 1 credit per workshop - Casual/First-time Attendees: $22 per workshop (paid at the reception desk when you arrive) ** How to enrol ** Online enrolment is not necessary. Members and credit-holders, when you arrive, please check-in at the kiosks as normal.
