VENUE 2nd Atherton Scouts Community Hall, Opposite Storytimes Day Nursery 68 Leigh Road Atherton Manchester M46 0PA adjacent to Atherton Cemetery Leigh Road Atherton M46 OLX Diagonally across from Atherton Cenotaph War Memorial junction of Leigh Road and Hamilton Street Atherton Manchester M46 0BE Oscle Ordunez A Professional Cuban dancer, Oscle studied in the Tony Menendez Dance Company performing with them in various important events such as, the OTTI Contest (1999), music videos for international Cuban bands Bamboleo (1999), Isaac Delgado (2000), Eduardo Sabori Music Festival (2000). ​ In 2004 he graduated as a professional dancer of musical spectacles in the world famous Tropicana Cabaret in Cuba, where he played different roles; he also performed in some of the most prestigious festivals in Cuba, such as Alabanza Internacional (2005, 2006, 2007, 2010), Cubadisco (2010), also internationally in Moscow and other parts of Russia. ​ He has also worked with the Cabaret Parisien Cuban dance company and also with the Danzares de Cuba Dance Company, performing and touring nationally and internationally , Festival Latinoamericando (Milan 2011), Rome, Naples, Bari, Sicily, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2011), he also appeared in the BBC. ​ He performed with the Descarga Dance Company in the UK (2011), he performed in the Made in Cuba Festival (2011), Cuban London Congress (2012) and Cuban Salsa Congress Wales (2012) Oscle has taught at many Salsa feel the heat events and it is a great pleasure to have him back with us once again. Lisandra Gutierrez Professional dancer. She graduated from the Escuela Nacional Ballet Espanol of Cuba as a dancer and instructor specialised in Flamenco (1996 - 2000), she was a member of the Ballet Espanol de Cuba dance company appearing in the International Festival La Huella (Spain 2000), the Tourist Convention in Cuba (2001, 2002), she made various performances on Cuban Television. ​ She became a member of Havana Rakatan Dance Company in 2004 performing in prestigious Festivals nationally and internationally, the Cubadisco Festival (2005), La Cuerda Viva Festival (2005), Alabanza International Festival (2006) Festival del Habano (Cuba 2006), Latinoamericando Festival (Milan 2006), the Jean Paul Gaultier perfume launch in Cuba (2006). ​ She traveled with Havana Rakatan to Switzerlannd and Italy, performing in some of the most prestigious theatres in thosee countries, Teatro Sistina (Rome), Teatro Smeraldo (Milan), Teatro Ariston (San Remo), Teatro Verdi (Florence). She was also a member of the Cuban dance companies Tropicana Cabaret, Cabaret Parisien and Danzares de Cuba with whom she traveled in Italy, Switzerland and UK, performing in important Festivals such as, Alabanza International Festival (2010, 2011), Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Soy de Cuba Show 2011), she also performed for the BBC (2011), she was a member of the Descarga Dance Company in the UK (2011), she has also performed in Made in Cuba Festival (2011), Cuban London Congress (2012), Cuban Salsa Congress Wales (2012) Lisandra has taught at many Salsa feel the heat events and it is a great pleasure to have her back with us once again.
