IMPROVER LEVEL: if you are neither a Salsa beginner student nor a Salsa Intermediate student quite yet.. then these classes are for you!! This is a structured progressive 8 weeks course that has been designed for people that have taken Salsa Beginners classes for a few months already. If you are confident with ALL the basic steps and you are able to do simple combinations as a Leader, and Ladies are able to follow simple combinations as well. If you have an understanding of rhythm and music but struggle and are not quite ready for the fast pace of an intermediate Salsa class.. this is for you!! You’ll learn turns, cross body leads including reverse CBL, crossed handed turns, open brakes, open and close positions, bridge, shoulder checks, copas, free spin, etc., emphasizing timing, frame, connection and lead/follow techniques. This course class will allow you to practice and repeat patterns and sequences over and over. At-the-end-of-the-course you’ll have a mini Salsa routine that you can showcase to your loved ones. We provide you with clear, detailed instructions and repeat as necessary.
