Salsa In Hawaii starts the 7th Annual Congress at Hawaii's most popular nightclub for Salsa and Bachata, The District Nightclub. Located at 1349 Kapiolani Blvd, near Waikiki, behind Ala Moana Shopping Center. Cover charge without a congress ticket: $35 on Thursday. Many different DJs from around the world including Elvis from New York, Mykey TZ from Alaska, and Ricky Kim from Korea. Multiple performances scheduled. 21+ Must have a physical ID (card or passport, no photos on phone). Nightclub attire, no tank tops or slippers. No powder allowed on the floor. Leather or smooth sole shoes highly recommended over suede dance shoes. Suede dance shoes will feel "sticky" on the floor. No outside food or drinks allowed, this includes flasks and water bottles.
