UPDATE Important Information regarding Mallorca Holidays for September / October 2021 We know many of you are wondering about the situation of our holidays to Mallorca in 2021. At the moment we are also in limbo while we wait for more updates from the Spanish Government regarding dance restrictions. The positive news is that case numbers and deaths are falling dramatically in Mallorca every day, (today just 252 cases and 3 deaths) however we also know many of you are nervous at the prospect of returning back to a dance holiday that follows our usual itinerary of lots of workshops, social dancing and clubs. We also know many of you are really looking forward to a holiday after the last couple of years and especially a holiday with a friendly group of people, so we are proposing a solution… We can change the itinerary of our usual Dance holiday to cater for a smaller group allowing for a relaxed holiday meet-up with friends. It would be a sociable reunion without the worry of a full dance itinerary but still with a little social music & dancing (restrictions permitting) as well as additional non-dance related activities which allow for covid safety measures such as yoga, biking, sea sports, excursions etc. If you would be happy to attend Mallorca with a relaxed itinerary, please let us know by sending an email to [email protected] so we can get an idea of numbers and proceed forward. We would also like to give anyone who has already booked either of the Mallorca holidays the option to transfer to our Reset & Dance, Corfu 2022 or Mallorca October 2022 if you are still feeling unsure. At this present time our Mallorca holidays have NOT been cancelled. We are giving you the option to transfer to 2022 or agree to an itinerary change. If either of our Mallorca holidays are cancelled then a full refund will be given. THE RESORT – SANTA PONSA You will be staying in the resort of Santa Ponsa on the south west coast of Majorca which is approximately 15 minutes from the capital city of Palma de Mallorca and 20 minutes from the Airport! Santa Ponsa is an attractive, picturesque beach town stretching across a large bay lined with shady pine trees and offers hidden coves and quieter bays to explore. It also has the widest range of sports and activities on offer anywhere in Majorca! The large main beach has sun-bleached, white sand and many water sports are available here while a short stroll along the promenade you present you with a cosy, hidden cove perfect for a quiet afternoon of relaxing. This area is popular with locals on weekends, especially when local markets and craft stalls visit the town. Santa Ponsa has a perfect mix of beach, shops and nightlife for a fun-filled holiday and offers an abundance of shops, markets, cafes, bars, restaurants, discos, pubs and a handful of clubs. There are specialty restaurants to choose from serving both local and international cuisine along with fast food eateries, many are on the front with beautiful sea views! If you take a stroll round the bay you will find the old part of the town which is home to more traditional shops where you will find local crafts, leather and perfumes at cheap prices! ACCOMMODATION We have the exclusive use of our beautiful hotel (only our Salsa group will be using it) Situated in the heart of Santa Ponsa, the hotel is located opposite the beach and is the perfect base for our Salsa activities. WORKSHOPS You will have the option to start your day with our morning Yoga class to set you up and give you time to connect and re-energise before any other workshops begin. You will have daily Salsa workshops led by our guest teachers each morning. This intensive course is available for all levels throughout the week and includes Crossbody and Cuban Salsa. During the afternoon we have a range of other dance styles available, these range from Kizomba, Ladies & Men’s styling, Bachata, Cuban Salsa, beach & pool La Rueda, Cha Cha Cha, Reggaeton, Son and many more! These are available for all levels. Our Beginners will receive intensive tuition throughout the week, you'll learn 6 months of Salsa in 1 week! FLIGHTS Flights are not included, it is more convenient for you to purchase your own flight from your local airport.
