Salsa in the Park

JOIN US FOR SALSA IN THE PARK! Summer season is here and so is our outdoor dancing season. Singles, couples, families and friends all welcome! Saturday, August 4th 6-9 The Beaverton Round Salsa in the park is a great place for meeting new people, learning to dance or practicing your dancing, connecting with your community and enjoying some FUN in the SUN! Bring your blankets, chairs, sunscreen, water and don't forget your sunglasses & hats! Latin mix of music for everyone to enjoy including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Timba, Cha Cha and more by Miguel Vazquez. Beginning lesson 6-6:30PM Show at 7:45PM by the GOT DANCE? Summer Bachata Project. Note: The dance area is not a brick surface like the other park events. It is a concrete surface. We recommend stable shoes and please take it easy when turning & pivoting. The coffee shop will be closed at the time, however Mio Sushi and Siam Lotus will both be open for those people wanting to get some dinner during or after the event. By popular request, we will have Portland Salsa in the Park T-shirts for sale! The $ collected go to help pay for DJs, marketing, permits and equipment costs. By purchasing a T-shirt, you help support the efforts & will help spread the word to get more people involved!
