Take it to the Next Level!! In this 8 week series, World Salsa Champion, Charlene Rose, will show you easy yet sexy styling to look great on the dance floor! Add poise, style, finesse and sabor to every step! Gone are the nights out wondering what to do with your arms while dancing with a partner, falling out of spins, and doing only basic steps when you are spun out for solo shines. Here are some of the things you can expect to work on throughout the duration of the series: Solo Styling Learn what to do when you’re dancing separate from your Partner… and look good doing it! - Spin Technique, Turn Options, and Styling - Salsa Footwork & Shines (several options including usage of suzy-Q, shimmy, touches, leg sweeps, etc.) - Groove Elements (Mambo, Pachanga, and Afro-Cuban) - Body Movement (Latin motion, Body rolls, Hip rolls etc.) - Stylization of the Basic Step - Arm Styling (Several options & proper usage) - General Technique (Body Posture, Usage of core, Proper usage of feet, Aesthetics) - Musicality (Interpreting the Music within your own movement.) Partner Styling Series Learn the tips and tricks for being a great follow… and with pizazz! - Proper Connection (Utilizing Frame, Pressure, Momentum, and Flow) - Technique for Spins & Turns (In place and Traveling) - Arm Styling (Several options & proper usage) - Body Movement (Latin motion, Body rolls, and Hip rolls within commonly lead moves) - Gentlemen’s Break (When the leads stops for a connected shine) - Hijacking the Lead (How to find more freedom within the partnership) - General Technique (Body Posture, Usage of core, Proper usage of feet, Aesthetics) - Musicality (Interpreting the Music within your own movement.)
