Join us for another uniquely awesome Salsa Night at The Range - arrive EARLY for Cuban dance workshop and lesson for all levels, beginners included, with Delmis Almonasi of Santiago de Cuba. Party with DJ Michael Luis and the Salsa Ithaca Team til 1am, with the best of Salsa-Son-Timba, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha, Reggaeton and Cumbia. DELMIS ALMONASI
Hailing from Santiago de Cuba, Delmis debuted as a professional dancer with Conjunto Artístico Integral de Montañas before moving on to perform cabaret in Matanzas and Varadero. She toured the Caribbean performing with Tierra Brava and teaching Salsa. She is loved for her vibrant energy and ability to connect with students.

RAFFLE PRIZES
Gift cards and products from local businesses will be raffled off in two rounds, the first after the dance workshop and lesson, and the second at midnight. Winners need to be on site to receive prizes. Everyone gets a free ticket with admission. Extra raffle tickets can be purchased at $1. All raffle and part of proceeds donated to Ithaca Friends of Cuba (IFC) and Grupo Cabildo Cimarron, a renowned Afro-Cuban folkloric dance troupe in El Cobre, Santiago de Cuba, recognized by UNESCO (United Nations Education Science and Culture Organization) for its contribution to “world cultural heritage.” IFC and Grupo Cabildo Cimarron collaborate on cultural exchange. Trader K's: For over 22 years, Trader K's, located in the beautiful Ithaca Commons, has been buying, selling and trading gently-used clothing and accessories to the Ithaca community and beyond.
Mockingbird Paperie: located on the Ithaca Commons, carries fine paper, stationery, wedding invitations, letterpress cards, unique gifts, social stationery and fine writing instruments and inks.
The Range: Ithaca's live music and dance event venue on the Commons.
Coltivare: a culinary center of Tompkins Cortland Community College. It houses three "Farm to Bistro" programs, and includes a full-service restaurant, culinary lab, amphitheater, wine cellar and special event space. The restaurant supports the college's own TC3 Farm, sourcing the produce grown by its Sustainable Farming and Food Systems students and returning composted food waste back into the fields.
DRINK SPECIALS: $3 Tequila Shots, $4 Cuba Libres, $5 Watermelon Margaritas, 2 for $5 Tecates, and Warm Drink Menu.
ADMISSION 21+ Gov ID Required. $8 includes workshop, lesson, party and raffle ticket.
TIPPING
Standard bar tipping is 20%-30% or $1-$2 per drink. Please support restaurant workers and the dance community by tipping bar staff.
