We would like to invite you for a Salsa Night with a difference this Friday 05 July 2019. Come network, enjoy, great music and unwind as we dance for a great cause. WHERE: Sizzling Bar & Restaurant (Westlands) opposite Unga House TIME: 5:00PM - 8:00PM Dance Workshops 8:00PM - Midnight Open Dance Floor CHARGES: 500/- All proceeds from this event will be channeled towards Marren Okudo's medical bill. Marren is a dancer and a member of the Nairobi Dance Community. Marren was diagnosed with a Giant Cell Tumour of the Bone (GCT) in 2017 and her leg was amputated because of the excessive spread of the tumour. She also underwent two other surgeries to remove tumour nodules that had spread to both her lungs. In all these surgeries, Marren had responded exceptionally well but lately Marren has been experiencing severe side effects to the medication and the pain has been severe. The recent CT Scan done in May 2019 on her chest indicated that there is a very big mass of tumour on her left lung that has also surrounded the blood vessels.
