Salsa on the Sponge Docks

On Saturday, October 1, from 6:00 to 10:30 pm, the City of Tarpon Springs and MARC/Medical Accident Resource Center will present a free event—Salsa on the Sponge Docks. Join us to enjoy the entrancing rhythms of Salsa music and dance while dining at Tarpon’s premier restaurants under the stars! From the heart of Tampa’s historic Ybor City, Orquesta Infinidad has been performing salsa, merengue, cumbia, Latin jazz, and an array of other Latin musical genres for more than two decades with their 12 piece band. The band will play from 7-10pm. DJ Mike will spin recent Latin hits at the west end of the Sponge Docks from 7-10:30. And to party the evening away, we will offer a free dance lesson by respected instructor Jairo Garcia from 6 to 7 pm. Preferred reserved seating can be purchased for $15.00 this area will serve as a great area to network with sponsors vendors and other great business professionals from all over the Tampa Bay Area.
