Salsa On1: Beginner

Our Wednesday Salsa On1 (aka LA Style) program consists of two hours divided into two classes progressing in difficulty for the price of one class. Each class is approximately 20 minutes of footwork and 40 minutes of partner work. Join as much as appropriate for your level. Price: $15 per day (7pm-9pm) | $120 for Package of 10 7:00-8:00 Beginner Salsa On1 New to Salsa? This is the place to start! Basic footwork, timing, and beginner level partner work. Recommended for dancers with 0-6 months of Salsa experience. Upper level dancers are encouraged to join to reinforce good fundamentals and warmup for the later classes. Drop-ins welcome. No partner needed. 8:00-9:00 Intermediate Salsa On1 Intermediate level class building upon skills learned in the first hour. Combinations are longer and more challenging, involving faster direction changes, more complicated footwork, hand switches, and spins. Recommended for dancers with 6+ months of Salsa experience and a solid grasp of fundamentals. Newer dancers, if you're up for a challenge, join our footwork warmup at the beginning of the intermediate class. For partner work, prior salsa experience and strong fundamentals are a must. New students are always welcome to stay and watch. If you’re unsure if you’re ready for intermediate, please don’t hesitate to ask us! Drop-ins welcome.
