Salsa On1 Open Special with Douglas Chue & Lorna Lim

🔥Our Salsa On1 Open Class on Sunday has 2 special guest instructors - Douglas Chue and Lorna Lim They are one of the best dancers in Singapore and around Asia as well. Catch them together as they collaborate for a special workshop together - Focusing on partnerwork and shines. 🕺🏻About Douglas Chue: 3-time Asian Salsa Champion, Douglas also competed professionally at the World Latin Dance Cup (On2 Division) and the World Salsa Summit (Cabaret Division) in Miami, the HK World Salsa Championships, and the World DanceSport Games. Douglas began his dance journey under the tutelage of street dancer Lionel Araya. A few years on, he trained with the Adrian and Anita Salsa Company in Spain and was inspired by the 6-time World Salsa Champions. Since then, Douglas has performed, competed and taught around the world in countries such as Croatia, France, Switzerland, South Africa, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan and the USA. On the social dance floor, you shouldn’t miss him with his tall built and controlled body movements while dancing with the ladies. 💃🏻About Lorna Lim: Lorna started her Salsa journey in 2009 with Caderas Latinas in SMU. She is now a choreographer and performer with the Caderas Latinas Alumni Team, as well as co-Director of BLDC, one of the top ladies shines teams in Asia - performing and teaching locally and internationally. Some of the Salsa competitions she has taken part and won includes Inter-Tertiary Salsa Competition (couple), Inter-Tertiary Jack and Jill (individual), Dance Grand Prix Italia (team), SILF Salsa Battle (4v4). She doesn’t just perform, she enjoys social dancing as well whenever she’s not training.
