Salsa Palante Placement Audition #2

Join Ithaca and Cornell's one and only Salsa en Rueda dance group. Learn Salsa dance technique and have fun! All are welcome. At Level Placement we give a Salsa en Rueda demonstration and info session about our troupe and mission. A workshop including a short choreographic sequence follows. Participants are welcome to present a choreography or free style dance of their own afterward. Through Placement, new members are assigned a level. Members move up in level as they acquire movement, lead-follow technique and combination repertoire. We accept dancers of all levels, from beginner through trained and performance level. Members learn Salsa en Rueda de Casino and Latin dance. Instructors include professionals and advanced members. We dance socially and perform to recorded and live music in a variety of formats, including on-stage and outdoors. LOCATION: Willard Straight Hall Room 601 (North Room Dance Studio) MAKE-UP If you cannot make Placement #1, we have a 2nd Placement on Saturday February 8th at Willard Straight Hall Room 601 from 4pm to 6pm.
