Join Salsa pros, Giovanni Santiago and Tate Lydia, for a 4-week progressive course covering Salsa Basics for Smooth and Flawless dancing! Let's dance off the rust TOGETHER! AGENDA WEEK 1 - Basic Step and Footwork (On1 and On2) WEEK 2 - Salsa Spins for Leads & Follows WEEK 3 - Partner Spinning & Transitions WEEK 4 - Timeless Social Dancing Techniques The class will be taught in both styles: Salsa On1 and Mambo On2. Expect to review Basic Techniques and Timing for leads and follows. REQUIREMENTS - Some salsa experience preferred. This class is taught at a Beginner/Intermediate level. - Intermediate/Advanced students will receive more difficult curriculum! - No Partner Required. - Bring a mask and anything else to make you comfortable. - Each individual who joins the class should take the precautions they feel comfortable with. - Hand sanitizer will be available. Please note: This course takes place every Monday for 4 weeks (beginning July 6, ending July 27) from 8-9 pm at The Zebra Room. This program is specifically designed for Social Dancers. You must attend all four sessions to receive a certificate of completion. LOCATION Held in the centrally-located Zebra Room in south Downtown Orlando. Zebra Room is a residential home turned into a dance studio. Close to the intersection of Michigan Avenue & Bumby Street. Conveniently accessible from Interstate-4, and the 408 East-West Expressway. Easy to reach from Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami and more! Please park inside the chain link fence backyard or along the street - not in the driveway.
