Salsa Shines Performance Team (Intermediate level) Free Come & Try

Dance Culture is inviting Salsa dancers to try Paul Cavanagh's Salsa Shines Performance Team. Note: This first class is free but please do register in advance (see "How to Register" below) Paul has grown a large and loyal following for his 7:45pm Monday night Salsa Shines class. This has led to interest and requests for a performance team to be created. There will then be some performances late November and early December (at Brisbane Latin Dance Festival). The first session of the course is being promoted both inside and outside of DC as a "free come n try" and those who want to continue with the course will then make payment for the course (which will be approx $260) Paul will choreograph the routine so that it is suitable for both non-competitive performances and for competition so that you have the OPTION of competing at World Salsa Solo in December. That is something you'll decide together during the course. ** When ** 8:45pm - 9:45pm Monday 4th September 2023 ** Is this for me? ** If you have at least some Salsa dancing experience you are most welcome and encouraged to join us. The training for this team will continue at the same time and place every Monday for 12 weeks. Performance opportunities and other expectations will be discussed during the information session. Please expect to invest approximately $260 (inc GST) to learn and train the choreography with the team. Payment plans can be arranged if necessary. ** What to wear/bring? ** Please bring water, a snack and wear what you'd normally wear for a dance class. ** Location ** This event and its subsequent trainings will be held at Dance Culture, 1st floor, 474 Ipswich Road, Annerley.
