Salsa Styling Performance Team Tryouts

SyC Veneno - Ladies Styling Team Tryouts! Date: Thursday, December 12th Place: Salsa y Control Dance Studio Allston Level: Salsa 2B (advanced beginner) and above For Tryouts: - Show up 15-30 min before 6:30pm to check in and warm up to be ready to dance! - You will learn a salsa footwork/styling choreography and then perform it in smaller groups. - Videos will be recorded of tryouts for internal purposes only. Tryout videos will not be shared publicly Info about our teams: - You will be training and learning an original choreography with the Salsa y Control Style - Practices will focus on techniques in footwork, spinning, styling, musicality, body movement, and performing. - Routines will be performed at socials around New England with the potential to perform at local/non-local congresses. - Commitment will be from January 2025 - September 2025 - Practices will be 1.5 hours a week on Wednesdays 8:30-10pm - Once a month there will be a Saturday morning practice for all SyC teams to practice together. - Extra practices (with coaches) outside of regular practice time will be scheduled as the season goes. - Extra practice (without coaches present) may be needed throughout the season - There are monthly Dues - SyC Team Members receive discounts on classes, privates, socials and events by SyC
