Salsa Thursdays at OTR return

Salsa Thursday hosted by SalsAddiction are officially back at On the Rocks! This is the official first night back. 8:30pm beginner salsa lesson by Tamara Early DJ (until midnight) - LeoRL Late DJ (midnight to close) - Chaula Cover $5 That also means Social Dancing is back at OTR! First, if you’re feeling sick, think you might be unwell, or exhibit any of the symptoms, please stay home. Social dancing has a higher risk of transmission due to the close contact and exercise level. Masks While masks will not be required, we have to keep in mind that everyone has a different comfort level, for various reasons, as the province is reopening. Some dancers may choose to only dance with a select few, others may choose to wear a mask or only dance with partners who wear masks, while others may not be able to wear masks. Please respect each other’s comfort levels and choices, and don’t take it personally if someone declines a dance. How to respectfully decline a dance: respond “No, thank you”. People who stand near the dance floor tend to get asked to dance more. If you wish to be selective with your partners for the evening, consider retreating a bit further back. Please make sure to continue great hand hygiene (and bring some hand sanitizer).
