www.latinconnectiondance.com presents FEBRUARY 2020 4 weeks progressive series for the New or Returning Beginner. Beginner Salsa with Style is your first step, literally, into a whole new world of sexy social Dancing! This immersive class will teach you Salsa ("on 1" / "L.A. Style") basics, partnering technique, how to flow mini patterns, as well as dance movement, styling and musicality. We give you enough practice time with music to dance with lots of other friendly students so you learn quickly. This class is for the complete Beginner, or those that need to hear, see and feel the basics again. At the end of the Series, an optional Nights OUT! to a San Francisco Salsa Club is offered at a discount to our students. See calendar for event details. ***NOTE: PARTICIPANTS DO NOT NEED A PARTNER - Students will rotate so everyone gets a chance to dance. Shoes that have a leather or suede sole preferred over tennis shoes, wear comfortable clothing, and bring a smile!*** YOU WILL LEARN Basic, Side, Cuban, Right Turn, Left Turn, Cross Body Lead, footwork variations and mini patterns. Next Hour : Beyond Beginner Level Beyond Beginner level goes into detail about things to master an array of Beginner Moves including transitions, layering basics and styling. 1/2 hour technique and 1/2 hour practice. ***NOTE: PARTICIPANTS SHOULD ALREADY KNOW - Basic, Side, Cuban, Cross Body Lead and Right Turn in both 2-hand and closed position.*** Practice at 7:30 to 7:45 BEYOND BEGINNER LEVEL AT 7:45 $8 WITH PAID BEGINNER LEVEL CLASS OR $10 WITHOUT / TAKING 2ND HOUR - BEYOND BEGINNER - ONLY Drop in for Beginner Level, $12.
