Salsa Workshops with Jai and Lillù Brisbane Starts Friday

Join Jai Sheffield (Australia) and Lillù Berthier (France) for four immersive open-level, concept-based Salsa on-1 workshops suitable for all Salsa dancers of an"Improver" to "Advanced" experience level. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from accomplished international Salsa instructors to upskill your dancing. Whatever your experience level, these concept-based workshops will layer-in new ideas and understandings that will elevate your dancing and enjoyment. These workshops will explore: ** Friday 5th July ** 6:30pm Leading and Following in Style: Enabling Both Partners to Enhance Musical Expression 7:45pm Understanding Salsa Music Structure: Techniques to Express Musical Nuances ** Saturday 6th July ** 3pm Using Flow and Movement for Improvisation: Going Beyond Classroom Learning 4:15pm Mastering Salsa Spins: Tips for Success You will change partners during the workshops. You do not need to enrol with a partner. Please note that the sale of Follower passes often closes early so that we can keep the Leader/Follower ratio as even as possible. There will also be a Latin Utopia party from 8pm on the Saturday. Please note that you are very much welcome and encouraged to attend but that the full pass does not include entry to the party. ** Are these suitable for me? ** These open-level, concept-based Salsa workshops are suitable for all Salsa on-1 dancers who can lead or follow at least: basic step, simple right turns, simple left turns and cross body lead. ** Investment ** For this weekend of workshops with these world-class instructors, here is your investment in your dance education: Full pass (4 workshops): $110 (equal to just $27.50/hour) Enrolments will close when the workshops are full.
