Salsaria Monthly Salsa Social - 7 May 22

Join us for a true salsa social experience! ► SALSARIA WORKSHOP FROM 7PM - 8PM: Salsa Workshop to be given by Aletta and Temi from Golden Flame. ► DANCE MIXER AT 9PM. What is a Dance Mixer? It’s a concept introduced back in the days as a way to introduce everyone to everyone. We invite all leaders or followers to form a giant circle on the dance floor where each will be partnered up to dance (salsa, bachata, or chachacha). Up on calling “SWITCH”, the leaders or followers are asked to rotate by moving to the next dancer. It goes on for about 3 songs. During which time, hopefully, everyone would dance or be acquainted to everyone in the circle. ► SOCIAL DANCING FROM 8PM - 12AM: DJ dVO (Salsa Jim) will provide the music for your dancing enjoyment for the night. ► SHOWS AT 10PM: (1) Olivia & Tomas; (2) Isabelle & Rebecca; (3) J&I; (4) Golden Flame Pro-Am: and (5) QUEENS by ÀSÀ Dance Production. ► FEE: $15 for workshop and social; or $10 for social only. ► PLEASE NOTE THAT: 1. Mask will be dancer's discretionary but we highly recommend that you wear one. 2. Street/outdoor shoes, or shoes with rubber bottom soles, are NOT PERMITTED on the dance floor.
