Hello everyone! This will most likely the last event before we break for the long summer. Our next events will be Halloween, October 29th and Christmas, December 17th. We may end Salsaria by celebrating its last Anniversary on January 7th, 2023. Join us for a true salsa social experience! ► SALSARIA WORKSHOP #1 FROM 7PM - 8PM: Intermediate Salsa Rueda Workshop to be given by Monica Rojita from AGUANILE. ► SALSARIA WORKSHOP #2 FROM 8PM - 9PM: Bachata Workshop to be given by Hala and Shakiru from ÁSÁ Dance Prosuction. ► DANCE MIXER AT 10PM. What is a Dance Mixer? It’s a concept introduced back in the days as a way to introduce everyone to everyone. We invite all leaders or followers to form a giant circle on the dance floor where each will be partnered up to dance (salsa, bachata, or chachacha). Up on calling “SWITCH”, the leaders or followers are asked to rotate by moving to the next dancer. It goes on for about 3 songs. During which time, hopefully, everyone would dance or be acquainted to everyone in the circle. ► SOCIAL DANCING FROM 9PM - 1AM: DJ dVO (Salsa Jim) will provide the music for your dancing enjoyment for the night. ► FEE: $15 for workshops and social; or $10 for social only. ► PLEASE NOTE THAT: 1. Mask is discretionary but we recommend that you wear it. 2. Street/outdoor shoes, or shoes with rubber bottom soles, are NOT PERMITTED on the dance floor.
