▂▃▅▆▇► SALSARIA'S 10TH ANNUAL MASQU'OWEEN GALA ◄▇▆▅▃▂ Join us for our Annual Masqu'oween Gala where you are automatically entered in our: ► Best Costume Contest ►(New) Best Make-up Contest; and ► Best Masquerade Contest. We are excited to resume our Annual Masqu'oween Gala after two years of absenteeism due to COVID. For 2022, wear your most creative Halloween costume, painstaking make-up and / or most elegant masquerade for a chance to crown the title for each contest category. A Judging Panel will narrow down the choices based on*: Originality; Themed character; Creativity; and WOW factor. There are GREAT PRIZES, plus the bragging right, to be won for the Annual titles!!!! ✧✧✧✧✧ EVENT DETAILS ✧✧✧✧✧ We will be having a few out-of-town artists to entertain us with some of their great numbers and workshops. CONFIRMED ARTIST: ✪ ASA Dance Production ✪ Lauren and Caitlyn ✪ Aletta & Chrisina ✪ 7:00 - 8:00PM: ► Workshop #1: Rueda de Casino workshop by Aguanile, salsa experience required ✪ 8:00 - 9:00PM: ► Workshop #2: Intermediate Bachata Workshop by ÁSÁ Dance Production (Shakiru & Hala) ✪ 10PM ► DANCE MIXER: What is a Dance Mixer? It’s a concept introduced back in the days as a way to introduce everyone to everyone. We invite all leaders or followers to form a giant circle on the dance floor where each will be partnered up to dance (salsa, bachata, or chachacha). Up on calling “SWITCH”, the leaders or followers are asked to rotate by moving to the next dancer. It goes on for about 3 songs. During which time, hopefully, everyone would dance or be acquainted to everyone in the circle. ✪ SHOWS @ 10:30PM: (1) ÁSÁ Dance Production; (2) Lauren and Caitlyn; (3) Aletta & Chrisina (Same Gender Salsa on2) ✪ 9 - 1:00AM: Social dancing to the music of DJ dVo. ✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ FEES ✰ ★ ✰ ★ ✰ ► FEE: $20 for 2 x workshops, social dancing and shows; OR $10 for shows and social dancing till 1am. ► PLEASE NOTE THAT: 1. Outside drink, alcohol or non-alcohol, is NOT PERMITTED on the premises. 2. Street/outdoor shoes, or shoes with rubber bottom soles, are NOT PERMITTED on the dance floor.
