He began dancing salsa and bachata in 2019 as a way to cope with PTSD after retiring from 20 years of service in the United States Navy in 2014. After injuries, including some service-related, he transitioned into DJing in 2022—channeling his passion into music and the dance community. Since then, he has performed at major events including the Los Angeles Bachata Festival, Mamajuana Bachata Festival, Hawaii Dance Expo, and Big Salsa Bachata New Year events, along with many socials across Southern California. In San Diego, he DJs regularly for Salsa Beat, Tranquí Foundation, and other local events. His reach continues to grow internationally with appearances in Boracay for the SBKZ Boracay and the Australian Salsa Convention.
