CALLING ALL BRAZILIAN SAMBA LOVERS... Do you want to compete this Sunday at the Pier Hotel Glenelg? This is a fun freestyle dance competition currently taking Adelaide's dance scene by storm this winter!!! We invite Adelaide dancaholics to social dance, spectate and compete at the return of: >>> ADELAIDE'S BEST SOCIAL DANCERS COMPETITION Cheer on the social dance competitors! We have already staged the Salsa shines, Bachata shines + Bachata Jack & Jill + Zouk, Kizomba and Salsa J&J competitions and all heats have been truly AMAZING... Oozing great energy and fun! Then Competitors dance for just under 1 minute one by one 3. All competitions are to dance 100% Freestyle 4. A panel of judges who are active in the local Brazilian dance scene will score points out of 10 5. Crowd response will also be taken into consideration 6. Competitors will be scored on - Flavour / Sabor / Ginga Musicality Timing Execution of moves Confidence 7. The top 3 highest scoring competitors make it into the Grand Finale on SUNDAY 11 AUGUST (same date as Zouk + Kizomba finals) 8. The samba soloist with the highest score during the heat wins $100 cash on the night 9. This is a fun, friendly, spontaneous social dance competition. Competitors enter as themselves and are not representing any particular studio or dance organisation. 10. This is a not for profit event and entry into competition is FREE and entry into event is FREE 11. Non sportsmanlike comments and attitudes will not be tolerated, we ask you support and applaud all competitors with respect. 12. No costumes please, casual wear is acceptable 13.
