SAMBA WORKSHOPS MISHEL IN ADELAIDE

A native of Brisbane, Australia, Mishel grew up surrounded by dance, with her parents passing on their love of Ballet and Ballroom, however it wasn’t until her first trip to Rio de Janeiro in 2003 that she developed her passion for Brazilian dance. Mishel has also taught and performed other Brazilian dance styles such as Zouk Lambada, Samba de Gafieira and Forro, and has a passion for Salsa, Flamenco, Bellydance and Hula, all of which have contributed to her very unique style. She has travelled the world and taught thousands of women to dance in over 15 countries, whilst inspiring them to be fit, healthy and confident. She is a qualified Yoga instructor and is passionate about injury prevention to ensure longevity in her dance career. ***Samba de Gafieira Footwork Workshop*** Learn some of the beautiful footwork variations from Samba de Gafieira partner dancing to include in your Samba no pe, with focus on correct technique, musicality and finesse. ***Comp Prep and Performance Skills Workshop*** Learn how to engage the audience, connect to the music and express your uniqueness on stage with this workshop designed to prepare you for both freestyling and choreography performances. :: :: :: >> WORKSHOP SCHEDULE: • 12:30pm Samba De Gafiera Footwork • 13:45pm Comp Prep and Performance Skills Please bring comfy clothes, sneakers, and water.
