Her sets are poly-genre, tempo-morphing, dance floor love that irresistibly moves feet, hips and heart into a deep and embodied journey of catharsis and transformation. VESICA invites you to loose and find yourself in the dance. VESICA is an Oakland-based Ecstatic Dance DJ whose journey began in the early days at the Ecstatic Dance at Sweets Ballroom in 2008. In 2010, VESICA co-founded Ecstatic Dance Berlin —the movement’s first international offshoot— helping spark its worldwide spread. Since then, VESICA has been invited to share sets across the world, from Lightning in a Bottle and cities like Los Angeles, Nevada City, and Oakland, to far-reaching dance floors in Moscow, Bukarest, Barcelona, and Ibiza.
