About this Event
The sandwich is a fun step favoured by beginners and experienced dancers alike but there is a lot of scope for creativity around this classic move. At this intensive tango workshop you'll be exploring the scope of this figure to maximise your connection and musicality during it. Great opportunities for play arise from this situation and Miriam Gita will show you some fun decorations and variations to amuse and inspire both leaders and followers.
The technical skills vital to achieving this will be taught in great detail and you will be given options to make it attainable and satisfying whether you want an ambitious challenge or a simple introduction to the concept. You will also be given exercises for homework designed by Miriam Gita to help you develop the strength, control, flexibility and balance necessary to dance Argentine tango well.
