Konpassion is looking for motivated konpa dancers to join the konpa show team SANSASYON! more info at konpassion.com/sansasyon or @sansasyonteam on instagram ———————— SANSASYON is the first konpa show team in the Netherlands. Our debut season began in the fall of 2024. Every six months, the group prepares a new show designed to share the beauty, artistry, and diversity of konpa dancing with the world. The maximum size of the team is 12 people plus the two leaders, which means we are looking for a few new dancers. All dancers need to be committed to weekly training until the end of May, and are ready to show the fun and beauty of konpa to the world. All ages, genders and body types are welcome. While we prefer dancers with konpa and performance experience, the most important qualities to join the team are commitment, desire to grow, teamwork skills and love and passion for konpa dance and music. ———————— Training: The team trainings are led by Janita and Dylan. Trainings are in Rotterdam West. The weekly training times are: 19:30 - 20:00 voluntary training for tricks & other advanced moves 20:00 - 21:30 mandatory training for the whole team 21:30 - 22:00 training for upcoming shows, usually only attended by a part of the team ———————— Dates: - Audition: Thursday 29th Jan, 19:00 - 20:15. Coming to the audition gives you better changes at getting in. If we have a lot of applicants, we may not invite everyone. - Applications remain open until the 3rd of February, results delivered latest on the 6th of February. - New season start: Thursday 12th February - Mandatory performance in Rotterdam: May 2nd - Mandatory filming day & the end of the season: 21st or 28th May ———————— Audition: Audition is open for leaders and followers who are open to leading about 3rd of the performance (no experience in leading required, just willingness to learn. Can be paid in three parts. - Willingness to invest at least 100,- EUR on a performance costume (we can increase the budget if the team unanimously agrees to do so). - Have dance shoes (flats or heels) in neutral colours: beige, brown, white or black. We may decide on a specific colour depending on the outfit. - Travel costs to the performance locations.
