About this Event

Opening circle is just after 6:30 with our half hour warm-up class taught by Kevin O'Connor(bio below) immediately following. Thank you to all that attended last Sunday! Such a great group! We look forward to you coming to play with us this week! Remember, your second time's free so make sure you come back and bring your friends! Suggested donation: $10-30 Kevin O’Connor (www.ecologicalbodying.com (http://www.ecologicalbodying.com/)) is a dancer, writer, and performing artist exploring how fascia, movement, and mindfulness shape presence, relation, and collective well-being. His PhD research positions fascia as an emergent 21st‑century human biology, an inquiry into how connective tissues might inform creative and social practice. Kevin is a founding member of Sweet Labour Art Collective, an interdisciplinary group situated between London, Ontario and Oneida Nation territory. Their current project, www.somaticgym.com (http://www.somaticgym.com/), translates rehearsal practices into accessible mindful movement experiments for cultivating presence and relational health beyond dance worlds. A graduate of the National Circus School of Montreal, Kevin has performed, taught, and facilitated across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. His work continually asks how our bodies are in the world, and the world is in our bodies.
