Introducing Santiago Croce at Studio 1924! We are excited to have Santiago join us for a series of four workshops on Monday evenings: March 11, March 18, March 25, April 1, 7:30-9pm. **Drop ins are welcome at any point during the 4 weeks.** During these 4 workshops we’ll explore the concepts of: - Walking and systems of walking for both roles: The tango walk is considered the most basic element of the dance. There are different systems depending on the moment of the dance. - Role of the roles: The role of each role, elements that belong to each one and how the role builds and enhances the dance - Stages of a step: one of the most powerful elements in tango to manage a more complete dance - The simplicity of the turns: breaking down the essential elements the turns - Root of sequences: The seed of all sequences and the structure of the dance - Systems of embrace: The best embrace at the moment - Tango as a dance, Tango as a feeling. We will also focus on technique and ways to take care of the body. No back pain, no feet pain, etc. Balance, axis and sources of energy will be part of the technique section of these workshops. Progressive pricing: 1st class: $25 2nd class: $23 3rd class: $20 4th class: $18 In other words, your first class in the series will cost $25, your second will cost $23, third $20, and fourth $18. So if you drop in for one class for the first time and it is the third week of the series, it will cost you $25, whereas if you attended the first, second, and third week, it would cost you $20.
