She is also recognised to be a ‘jack of all trades’ as she can also dance many other styles including ballet, hip hop, salsa, kizomba, and a touch of zouk. Illary started dancing Salsa and bachata in London approximately 5 years ago. She taught for almost 3 years in one of London’s biggest schools “Bachata spice”, and taught in other big schools such as Salsateca, BOS and Pineapple Studio. She then went on to spread her love for teaching internationally and taught at the Bachata Stars Congress in Budapest. Shortly after, she was hand-picked by international bachata superstars Chloé and Carlos to teach at their school ‘Paradizo”. She has now moved to Australia and on a mission to spread her knowledge across the land. She is not only an entertaining instructor but her teaching has a lot of depth as she strongly emphasises the importance of correct technique, connection, creativity, and musicality. Dancing has always been a core part of her life. Whenever there is music, she WILL dance. No matter where she is and no matter what situation she is in. •About Sara Panero: “For 7 years she has been formed in various disciplines of dance such as ballet, contemporary dance, modern dance, and hip hop. After, she joined the “Bachatea Dance Company” and became very successful as a group in bachata competitions at the national level. In September 2012, Sara became Marco Espejo’s dancing partner. In this same year they won 2 national bachata competitions and created their own professional company of bachata called ‘Esencia’. In 2013 Marco and Sara were proclaimed as national champions of Bachata couple 4 times. The following year (2014) they became national runners-up with their professional company ‘Esencia’. In May 2015, Sara was presented as the new dance partner of Albir Rojas. Together they dedicated themselves to the world of Kizomba. ‘Albir&Sara’ finished their collaboration in December 2016 to follow different paths. Now Sara will focus on new projects and goals based on her unconditional love of dance.
