Saturday Dance with Mint Julep Jazz Band & Jitterbug Contest

Bull City Swingout's main dance at the historical Durham Armory! Join us for a night of dancing and the Jitterbug Contest, inspired by the one held at the Armory in 1943! We have The Mint Julep Jazz Band, native to Durham, swinging us through the night. There will be a beginner lesson from 7-8, and we recommend getting there at 6:45. Pre-lims for the competition will be held after Saturday classes, more information to come at a later date. Entry to the competition is $10. This is a mix and match competition.
