Saturday Salsa Workshops: Beginners - Advanced

Multiple workshops here with BEGINNERS + ADVANCED + LADIES' / MENS' SPECIALITY classes in this jam packed Salsa Saturday! Not to miss out with the one and only Georgie Woods teaching Ladies Styling & Rich Lees from Dance Salsa Manly. BEGINNERS We invite newbies and people from our current beginner course to attend this smaller workshop to get more bang for your buck drilling these fundamentals. The aim is to get you dancing at our social parties with the basics at ease and comfort. Less thinking and more fun please! We cover the right turn variations, cross body lead plus more if you burn through the content! Beginner Syllabus: 1. Right Turn variations 2. Cross Body Lead 3. Walk Through 4. Lead & Follow Technique + How to hear the music ADVANCED (inviting our current level 2 students +) This is the next level of Salsa in our syllabus here at Dance Salsa Manly. You will need to have completed the 10 weeks (2 courses) of our Beginner Level 1 Salsa courses before signing up here. We will cover a lot of new material for beginners and even cover more material than our level 2 courses Advanced Syllabus All beginner Syllabus from level 1 (right turns, cross body lead + turn variations and enchufla). We then cover more turn patterns including but not limited to 5. 1 & 1/2 Right Turn + variations & combos 6. One and half right turn + variations & combos 7. 3/4 turn footwork + variations & combos 8. Ladies styling and men's lead technique 9. Shoes with leather soles such as dress shoes to make it easier to turn or at least shoes with little grip like rubber soled shoes. No partner required. Wear comfortable clothes.
