Saturday Swing Dance and Fundraiser for NoCo Ballet Dancers at Club Tico.

It is with great sadness that Canyon Concert Ballet has announced that they will be closing down their Ballet School and Company here in Fort Collins. It is even more sad because one of NoCo Swing Dance major contributors, Sophia Asta, who is a member of the Ballet Company will be impacted by this dissapointing news. In order to support Sophia and the Company all profits and any donations that evening will go towards the dancer's independent fundraiser for their final show. Fortunately for us there will be a final performance on the weekend of May 22-24th. We charge $10 or what you can afford for our DJ dance nights and $15 or what you can afford for our Live Band Nights. Students get a $5 discount and volunteers can still get in for free. Children under 13 accompanied by an adult get in free. We will be offering at least two dance lessons before each dance. This will include a True Beginner Introduction to Swing lesson and for those that have been dancing for a while a more challenging Beginner Plus lesson. Doors open at 6:00 and our lessons will begin shortly after. Please remember that NoCo Swing Dance is a non-profit organization and all of the funds that we take in go directly towards our events. We are a very beginner friendly dance community and absolutely love new dancers. No partner is ever needed and no experience is ever required. Come dance with us.
