Savoy Spring Jump 2019

(ENGLISH BELOW) ____________________ Quest'anno ci sono tante novità entusiasmanti per la quarta edizione di SAVOY SPRING JUMP, il festival porta a Roma la gioia e l'energia del grande Swing internazionale: insegnanti fantastici e tre serate con esibizioni, musica dal vivo d'eccezione con due band, tra cui i fantastici HORNSGATAN RAMBLERS direttamente da Stocclolma! E... la domenica sera sono gli studenti ad essere sotto i riflettori con le routine imparate durante le lezioni! Gli insegnanti del workshop sono la meravigliosa JOSETTE WIGGAN (USA) e quattro ballerini della esplosiva compagnia di Swing dance più nota nel mondo, gli HARLEM HOT SHOTS: saranno per la prima volta a Roma MIMMI GUNNARSSON (SWE), FREDRIK DAHLBERG (SWE), GABRIELLA ROSATI (SWE) e NILS NYGARDH (SWE ) per insegnare Lindy Hop e Aerials! Inoltre per le taster class arrivano ANNA VAN DIJK (AUS) e CHRIS SUTTON (AUS), MAXI PRADO (ARG), CLAUDIA BIGGERI (ARG), KATERINA ROUSSOU (GRE) e ANNA PORTELL BUESO (ESP). Per le SERATE abbiamo l'onore e la gioia di avere per la prima volta a Roma una band di otto elementi direttamente da Stoccolma : gli HORNSGATAN RAMBLERS portano la musica e l'energia delle grandi occasioni! La band ha la carattersitca unica di essere formata da musicisti che sono anche ballerini di fama internazionale, quindi... si sentiranno e si vedranno cose incredibili! Accanto a loro per farci muovere i piedi a ritmo di grande musica ci sono THE JEEPERS, la band dedicata al grande Johnny Hodges e specializzata nel repertorio più raffinato della storia dello Swing! And... on Sunday it will be the students' turn to be under the spotlight with the routine learned dung classes. The teachers of the workshop are the one and only JOSETTE WIGGAN (USA) and four members of the most renowned Swing dance company in the world, the HARLEM HOT SHOTS: we are honored to have for the first time in Rome MIMMI GUNNARSSON (SWE), FREDRIK DAHLBERG (SWE), GABRIELLA ROSATI (SWE) and NILS NYGARDH (SWE) teaching Lindy Hop and Aerials! The other band that will be swinging hard at night is THE JEEPERS, an ensemble inspired by the work of the legendary Johnny Hodges and specializing in a refined repertoire of pure Swing. GALA - SATURDAY NIGHT (OPEN TO EVERYBODY, also without taking part in the workshop!!!)
