Our 2 day courses are set up to give you the foundations in becoming a teacher, host and social dance DJ. This is a pre book course. You may want to teach for East Coast Entertains, or set up your own social dance events in Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba. The course is ideally suited for anyone already involved in social dance under any capacity, purely as a hobby, or otherwise and wish to take your social dance journey even further. The course focuses on these 3 dance styles: Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba. *** Course includes: 1 Teacher syllabus from Beginner to Improver level. Understanding strict tempo and follow & lead techniques. How to upskill as a teacher. Learning how/when to warm up, cool down and animate. The 'unseen' benefits of social dance and movement. 2 Safeguarding and child safety. 3 Insurance/Public liability & DBS 4 Managing dance events - Weekly/Monthly - How to maintain a healthy mindset. 5 Understanding your front of house. 6 Understanding history/culture/foundations of Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba 7 Social dance DJ workshop plus recommendations on the right pa system. *** 2 day course starts at 10am Saturday 31st and finishes at 5pm. And then Sunday 1st September at 11am finishing at 4pm.
