Sea DandeLion ECSTATIC DANCE & Cosmik Sound GONG BATH Bath in WAIMEA ✨ THURSDAY 27th Feb 7-9pm Join us from 7-9pm for a HI vibe night of freeform dancing in a safe space courtesy of Sea DandeLion Honoka'a, DJ Lyra Love & Cosmik Sound ✨ Lyra Love will be selecting and mixing, live at the event, a unique and eclectic mix of world rhythms 🎧🦁💋 At 8:45 the music will transition over to my cymatic sister Kristen, who will share a vibration-raising 15 minute gong sound bath with us ✨🌸. 15yrs + welcome. $10 donation. The dance will be held in the Thelma Parker Gymnasium at Waimea Elementary and Middle School. Conveniently located in central Waimea, behind the post office, across the road from the Shell gas station. There’s ample parking on site. The space is an older school gym and there’s lots of room to dance, the lighting is low too so it feels really private when you're losing yourself to the music. Ecstatic Dance is a safe space to literally lose yourself to dance. Free form movement with NO judgement. Hear the music, kick off your shoes, get on the floor, feel the vibrations of sound resonate through your BEing and let go. Move your body without the worry that you are being judged. Music and dancing are wonderfully medicinal. Moving to sound is a tonic for the body, mind and soul. It promotes release and allows us to feel optimum health. Since we are all vibrational BEings, dancing has the same wonderfully positive effect on each of us. Due to the free form nature of this dance, for liability reasons and out of consideration for dancers and our dance space, children under the age of 15 are not permitted.
