Seattle Touch Fundraiser: Salsa & Bachata Social for Girl Rising

Seattle Touch is part of the Island Touch Dance Academy and one of our goals (besides spreading our love of bachata dancing) is to also help our local community. Did you know that Seattle is one of the biggest human trafficking cities? Girl Rising (www.girlrising.com) is an organization committed to a global campaign for girls’ education. Their mission is to change the way the world values the girl to fight and prevent trafficking and through the power of storytelling, share the simple truth that educating girls can transform societies. Join us on Friday July 11. 2014. Enjoy a fun night of dancing AND raise money for a good cause. The money we raise will go directly to the GirlRising global education campaign. We will have: 1 hr beginner salsa lesson. 1 hr beginner bachata lesson. DJ Yambu Spinning salsa and bachata hits during the social. COVER $5 Salsa lesson only (8pm-9pm) $5 Bachata lesson only (9pm-10pm) $7 For both lessons (8pm-10pm) $10 Social dance only (10pm-2am) $15 Both Lessons and social dance (8pm-2am)
