What started as an early introduction quickly became a lifelong passion. He later became a certified ballroom instructor, teaching for several years before discovering West Coast Swing—a turning point that, more than 20 years ago, captured his full attention and ultimately shaped his teaching focus. Angela Krebs began her dance journey in 1996, competing on the country dance circuit before shifting her focus entirely to West Coast Swing in 2007. Soleman and Angela met on the dance floor in 2010 and have been dancing, competing, and teaching together ever since. They were married in September 2023, continuing both their personal and professional partnership. After relocating from Chicago to Bremerton, Washington in 2012, they played a key role in growing and strengthening the West Coast Swing community on the Kitsap Peninsula. Their workshops emphasize strong technique, clear connection, and creative variations, with a consistent focus on social dancing. Above all, they share one guiding principle with every student: you must always have fun. ----- Tentative SCHEDULE: 2:00 pm Open Floor Practice- practice solo or bring a partner. Learn what he uses to take your dancing to the next level. Prerequisite: No WSDC points required to attend. Make sure you are comfortable with all basic patterns and a few variations (Push, Pass, Tuck, Whip). 5:00 pm All Levels WCS Workshop with Soleman and Angela: FUN WITH LEGOS Work on taking your basics and techniques to the next level with Angei and Soleman Lego system Prerequisite: Know basic patterns (Push, Pass, Tuck, Whip). 5:30 pm FREE 1 Hour Beginner Lesson (upstairs) 6:00 pm Social dance starts, with DJ Soleman 9:00 pm Social dance ends & volunteer to clean up ----- PRICING Dance admission included with purchase of 1 or more workshop!
