Her mother used to go to the milonga organized by her grandmother, Martita, in the Congreso area. Growing up she was surrounded by tango, watching the best dancers of those times, practicing from a young age at Buenos Aires milongas and learning with the best teachers. SEBASTIAN ACHAVAL discovered tango when he was 15 years old. When a friend enrolled him into a tango school he embarked on the most important journey of his life. Born and raised in Neuquén, he decided to move to Buenos Aires to pursue his professional tango career. In 2005, he took part in the Tango World Championship and became the Tango de Salón World Champion together with Ximena Gallicchio.
