Second Thursday Swing Dance @ the Polka Dot Bar

Second Thursday Swing Dance at Hamtramck's Polka Dot Bar located on the corner of Brombach and Yemans is happening again! The place (formerly the Atlas Bar) has been transformed from a local dive bar to a sleek spot something like a French cafe. Cover is $5 at the door. The place has no signage, but like at the Neighborhood Art School, we'll have out dance signage out at the entry way to let you know we're ready to take over the hard wood floor. Be advised that there are 3 steps leading into the renovated house. Polka Dot carries the bar-bones basic beers and spirits, so customers are welcome to order food in from Amici's or stop by Polish Village Cafe, both within walking distance. Use street parking, but there is a lot a couple of blocks away. See you June 13th at 8:30!!
