What can a dancer do? If you don’t feel inspired to dance right now, congratulations - you are normal and part of a big club! In this Tango Spheres chat, Elly & Kelly will be sharing the results of their survey “Dancing in the Space You Have” which highlights a number of possible community explorations for the global tango problem: are we even dancers if we are not dancing? How can our connection with the community and with ourselves strengthen our resilience? (Spoiler alert: Some of the solutions we may find can even help us to gain more benefits from our current mental state!) This session will utilize zoom breakout rooms for optional smaller group discussions. All of us can learn from one another about pivoting in these hard times! Our guest presenters – Tango Futurists, innovators and Tangovators, will lead a workshop on technologies, ideas, and ways to evolve our tango, and help our communities to flourish in the coming era. It also happens now to be the sixth generation (depending on how you count 24 -30 year per generation) since the 1880s – l900s, the first generation of tango we can see as the early stages of the lineage of the dance we recognize as Tango today.
