S.E.C.R.E.T. Ritual Dance Portal: Spring Series

Dear fellow movement and earth lovers, I am so happy to be sharing my dance practice with you In my home temple, the Starhouse. Last year I became a minister of the Starhouse and became more committed then ever to helping others experience the profound resource for our body and spirit this place can be. The temple is dedicated to sacred union and so is this weekly Dance Portal! StarHouse land and temple has been my training ground for the sacred arts for over 20 years. It has many secrets to share. It is my joy to share them with you. I Created this weekly dance portal to bring my decades of ecstatic dance, 5 rhythms, yoga, dance healing and temple dance training together with the codes and secrets of our StarHouse temple. It is a weekly kaleidoscope of Dance and movement meditation. After years of ecstatic dance I noticed I was craving something more. I wanted connection and a meaningful way to work with the renewed energy in my body after dancing free. I call this body prayer when the energy in our bodies get bright and expanded and we dedicate it to something we love and support. So Ive created a space for us to unwind and connect with our bodies with a variety of yogic movement and playful alignment techniques that lead us into our free form excitation shapeshifter dances then into a variety of body prayer methods. We do alot of ceremonies at StarHouse. This weekly embodiment space is a place to explore all that comes through the moon and seasonal ceremonies. Its a place to integrate and discover new layers. We have a seasonal theme each week to explore the connection between our bodies, the earth and the seasons. We end with chanting, body prayer, energy healings, dancing poetry... A variety of sacred play that is offered to the earth as a prayer. The night has the feeling of sacred play. Part of my ministry is allowing myself to be lead by spirit, so there is an element of mystery that leads us into all kinds of playful reunion. The basic structure looks like this... - Yoga Warm Up session to start - Free Flow Ecstatic Shapeshift Journeys and Movement Meditations. These start slow and methodical and rev up into full rewilding to get your body moving! We use a 5 Rhythm wave method for the playlists. - Our Closing has a variety of Chanting, Body Prayers, Dance poems, season rituals, Journal prompts, Circle Shares. It comes together as we all find ways to give our gratitude and energy back to the earth.
