Rico Suave, was born in Guinea-Bissau before moving to Portugal aged 22, fleeing the war in his home country. Growing up surrounded by music and dance, he developed a passion for both from an early age. An expert in Gumbé - traditional music & dance from Guinea-Bissau - he’s also well versed in other genres popular in Afro-Luso countries like Zouk, Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha, Kuduro, Funana & more! Born in Romania and growing up in Italy, Adda set her sights on dancing from an early age! From 2007 to 2012, Adda attended Amici Dance School in Oderzo, Italy, learning mainly Hip-Hop but also other dance styles such as Modern Dance, Ballet, Line Dancing, Cheerleading, MusicalTheatre, Rock & Roll! Moving to the UK in 2013, she stepped into the Kizomba world developing her passion for Angolan culture. Now part of RicAdda Dance School, Rico & Adda regularly travels the world over and will deliver an in-depth Semba bootcamp (2h) on Sunday 26th Aug.
