postponed due COVID Thailand, Koh Phangan SENSING POETRY OF THE MOVEMENT, BODY AND SPACE - art laboratory about making short dance films, improvised performances and poetry, facilitated by Sasha Dodo and Dolores Dewhurst-Marks the laboratory is a part of art continuum nomadic residency spring program in Thailand 2021 the residency is designed for international artistic exchange, development and production of art, existing periodically in diverse locations. Focused on the fields of poetry, dance improvisation, performance and film. Containing laboratories, workshops and performative events. It is orientated towards those who are looking for a flexible environment to develop their own creative pathways, to cultivate contemplation of the present moment, poetic vision and being with nature, in collaboration with other artists. the residency supports individual artistic development and searches for an intuitive approach to co-creation. more information: www.artcontinuum.space about art laboratory: we will practice to be here; to cultivate availability for what is happening in the space; opening ourselves for the inner landscape of our meeting, towards the continuous flow of hidden events and subtle qualities which arise during our improvisation. Exploring how we can lightly and openly maintain conversation with the unknown; sensing and composing poetry already present in the moment. reawakening profound abilities to listen attentively and trust without so much expectation; creating lucid space and time for new beginnings, where poetic vision can be shared by being embodied. together we will create an environment in which it's possible for perception to shift to a place where reality is more alive, interconnected and poetically rich. developing spatial intelligence in which group communication and investigation mostly happens wordlessly. Where everyone continually tunes themselves to the moment. regarding participants interests and the overall creative stream we are in, the outcome could be performances, short poetic/dance films and poetry.
