Sensual Bachata Social Dance Training TEAM Mondays 7:45-9:30PM (3 months)

Limit 24 dancers (Don't need to bring partner, but it is preferred): 20 hours (12 weeks) of Sensual Bachata Training for SOCIAL DANCING (performance/showcase and/or music video are optional) You will be learning a fun, useful Bachata Sensual SOCIAL DANCE routine... we will be practicing with many different types of Bachata songs, but always go back to one specific song (to practice MUSICALITY). It will be based off Sensual Bachata techniques with connection and movements (some Zouk/Salsa concepts that will help your Bachata) -- completely lead and follow based. Organized pattern to practice all techniques!! TEAM Options (please indicate your preference to me or Suci): 1. Social dance training only/practice individual movements. 2. Performing is the goal. 3. Performance if ready. PURELY TECHNIQUE Workshops (not choreography), but in order to develop proper techniques, we need (dance) muscle memory. We will be going over proper technique when it comes to head rolls, body rolls, Bachata hips, shoulders, dance-frame, and more. Unique moves will be given to challenge you, but the foundation of the move is the same as many other moves. TIMING: there will be timing practices with the Bachata rhythm. How to have accurate timing with PREPs (preparation count to transition the move) are as important as the move itself. 3 Month Curriculum: August 5th/12th (Foundational), August 19th-October 21st (Lead+follow Pattern/repetition) Day: Mondays Time: 7:45-9:30PM Location: 6501 E.
