Sensual & Dominican Bachata workshops with Sol @ Somos 6 5!

More people have been asking us for Bachata lessons since our last workshop at Somos in May, so on June 5th Somos we’ll be hosting one of Korea’s pioneer Latin dance instructors, Sol de Corea, to teach us Bachata Sensual & Dominican Bachata! 지난 5월 SOMOS에서 열린 워크샵 이후 바차타에 대한 많은 분들의 관심과 성원에 힘입어 6월 5일에는 국내 라틴 댄스의 선구자인 무인도를 초대하여 바차타 센슈얼과 도미니칸 바차타를 레슨해주시기로 하였습니다! Sol has travelled extensively around the world to learn dance: everywhere from Brazil, to Cuba, to Egypt, to Europe…his commitment to dance is unparalleled! His dancing is alive with plenty of body movement, flavor, musicality, and attitude! He has been teaching for over a decade, and when I first saw Sol dance I was blown away! His most recent travels took him to Cuba to learn Afro Cuban body movement, and we’re delighted to be hosting him to share his extensive dance experience. He has performed Bachata numerous times & will be bringing his extensive dance experience to Somos June 5th. He is only in Korea for 3 weeks as he is based in Taiwan & often travels around Asia to teach latin dance, so it’s a rare opportunity to learn from one of the most experienced instructors in Korea! 무인도는 브라질에서 유럽에 이르기까지 세계 각지를 순회하며 댄스를 배웠습니다. 댄스에 대한 그의 열정은 끝이 없습니다! 그의 춤은 다양한 동작과 음악성, 춤에 대한 그의 열정으로 충만합니다. 그는 십년 넘게 춤을 가르쳐왔으며, 제가 처음 그의 춤을 봤을 때 정말 마음을 뺏겼습니다. 그는 최근 에도 쿠바에서 아프리카계 쿠바 댄스를 배웠으며 이런 그의 폭넓은 댄스 경험을 이번 기회로 우리에게 나누어줄 수 있게 되어 너무 기쁩니다! 셀 수 없이 많은 그의 바차타 댄스 공연의 경험을 살려 6월 5일 Somos에서 레슨을 해줄 것입니다. 그는 대만을 근거지로 두고 아시아 나라를 돌며 라틴 댄스를 가르치고 있으며, 이번에 한국에는 단 3주 동안만 머물 예정입니다. 그래서 이번 레슨은 매우 숙련된 강사 중 한명인 그에게 한국에서 춤을 배울 수 있는 굉장히 좋은 기회가 될 것 입니다. June 5th, Sol will teach us 2 workshops of Bachata Sensual & Dominican bachata. This is an open class for all levels, so all are welcome. Bachata Sensual is a style of Bachata that emphasizes a lot of sensual body movement, and Dominican Bachata emphasizes different footwork to the Bongo in Bachata.
